such a frustration when you just want to try to get it right one time,
the only thing i did good was getting in at 3.58 other then that
trying to pick sell and rebuy points no chance

Okay, let's do some math:

Citadel and partners paid in total 2.55b.  800mil of it goes outright
to buy ABS.  This means the remainder 1.75 billion went to buy shares
and convertible bonds.  Now, Citadel folks are real bastards, so they
covered themselves by having a mix of shares and bonds, so they have
secured stream of income in case things goes sour.  But the upshot,
according to Bloomberg, is that :
"In total, the group will get shares worth 19.99 percent of the common
stock currently outstanding."

Okay, according to google finance, there are 423 million shares
outstanding.  20% of that is 86.6 million shares.

1.75 billion divided by 86.6 million is 20.2.  This means that Citadel
and Partners paid $20.2 per share

Okay, part of it was convertible bond, which means the interest
depreciates some of the values, so that affects valuation....etc.  I
am not sure what is the exact math, but even if Citadels are great
negotiators and stick all kinds of clauses into the deal, at least
they paid $10 a share.

But since Citadel received 20% doesn't that mean that there are more
shares outstanding and the shares have been diluted.  Additionally, we
cant calculate the price they paid per share unless you know the value
of the 12.5% bonds received by Citadel.  More then likely the 20%
stake in E-Trade was just a topping, right!?

but, this development is no good for speculators, the volatility will
go down, and the share price is likely to stay around $6 for a long
while. I don't know, seems no chance of a buyout in the near future.

Death by a thousand cuts...its normally how a day trader dies. just be
cool under pressure, don't make bets...make decisions, use your stops
well and keep and eye to the long term.

remember that the average amatuer day trader makes about $20 per trade
over time.

keep the faith

LOL still look for news about a buyout for its platform. What is
happening is people and some insititions had preset triggers to sell
at certain levels, SO levels were passed thus they started selling. By
end of day should be headed back up because shorts are going to start
buying to cover which should continue to carry on after hours into
tomorrow.

I think the volatility of this stock has made it a great play for day
traders and shorters. I do agree it looks like a base has been
reached.
