You should be using just2trade instead of paying huge commission to
etrade

I dunno, I tried some of the really cheap brokers, but their sites
sucked too much. Its worth paying more than double to use a great site
especially now with their mobile app. Thats what really pushed it over
the top for me.

wow,  you get what you pay for.  market price for trading is 10
bucks,, anything less  comes with bad service and even delayed
quotes.      thats why i invested in etrade.   they are fair with
above average service.

customer service and a decent trading platform. Which you have to pay
for though if you do not meet min trades.

I use sogoelite ($ 0.005 per share per trade with $ 1 min) for higher
priced share, or just2trade for option and larger amount of shares
(flat $ 2.5 and $0.50 per contract). I day-trade, so it adds up
quickly. However we need people to use e'trade a lot, so e'trade make
more $$$ and shares go up :)))

I use schwab, they are amazing... best customer support for anything I
have ever used. Plus gotta love the invest first credit card.
12.95 trades, unless you do 8 trades a month then its 8.99 but i'd pay
the premium 12.95 just for thier service, and there research /
tools.

I'm sure it sounds retarded to many, but I pay close to $30 per trade
plus a premium if its over 2000 shares.  And I'm happy to do it
because my broker has saved my @ss twice by phoning me when he heard
news that the company I was in had filed for BK (HAYZ and LEAR).  In
both cases I managed to sell at a profit rather than losing with the
rest of them.  So yeah, I'll stick to my $30+ trades.

I tried Questrade and couldn't stand the excruciating process of
opening the account.  Perhaps my situation was a little unique in that
I am Canadian and my money is American... but it took almost a month
and a half before my deposit was available to trade.  So I traded
exactly one time with them.

Ironically, I've never tried Etrade.
