Hey everyone, I havenet been on this post for awhile now. I see the old timers LOL, are hanging in their with ETFC. Whats up with ETFC. IS has not moved much up, since I sold my 400,000 shares. | How can KG screw ETFC shareholders?
Given the current state of the balance sheet and housing market, with the amount of debt that etrade still owes KG, can anyone here give a scenario how KG can screw other etfc shareholder without screwing himself up? If Etrade were to convert all the debt owed to KG to equity, that would mean further dilution, the question is, how bad will that be?... proToss - |

| Attempted P/E Valuation
I have been trying to get a simple, back of the envelope, P/E calculation of E-Trade's value. During the fourth quarter, excluding provision for loan loss, E*Trade had operating earning of approximately $200m. If this continues, and provision for loan losses are eventually eliminated, it will have annual operating earnings of $800m. With a 30% tax rate this leaves... Tom - |
