Subject: IAC Q3 earnings report
I just went through the earnings call transcript (they still don't let
me participate directly, dough!)

Several interesting points raised:

Revenue increase was 8%, they increased free cash flow a lot, to 310M
(up 90M). Pretty impressive, as are the increases in their ticketing
operations.

Not so impressive: flat sales at HSN; bad results in their lending
division.

The most interesting part is the pending buyback. Diller obviously did
not want to share much details, but they've got approved a 60 million
shares buyback and they want to do it when the time/price is right.
Keep that in mind because it will, when executed, move the price of
this stock, due to the volume of the operation.

I don't find the results of the lending division that surprising given
the current state of real estate.  Overall a decent report.  They still
remain my favorite internet stock..
