Barry Diller and The Interactive Team final score a big one offline.
This time in the form of a TV show. CollegeHumor the TV show is kind of like the 'Office' and it will air on MTV in Q1. HArd to say this isn't good news for the purchasing abilities of the IACI M&A team. http://tinycomb.com/2008/12/18/collegehumor-to-be-a-show-on-mtvsoon/

As a customer of their Service Magic subsidiary, I would strongly
advise you sell that batch quickly. For starters, their revenues are drastically down this year, if Service Magics ethics are any measure of the overall company (lending tree, "Where banks compete for your business") I would suggest shorting this stock before buy and hold. Pitting your customers against each other is a sure way to lose those
Also, as a self employed small business, they took my business name
Several customers have had to hunt me down to complain that Service
This is the epitomy of sleaze, after a year of requesting they stop
If this is standard practice for this corporation, I'd get out quick.
Compare the performance of their stock to the DOW...they have not

No chance for Google to buy this company. I'm thinking a media
company will try to buy it if anything. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

I don't understand why ppl keep thinking Google will buy this or that.
I heard similar discussions on the Monsters.com discussion board. The fact that Google has tons of cash doesn't mean it will go on a shopping spree. First of all, I haven't seen Google buying a big company so far, unlike Microsoft & Oracle. Secondly, IAC is on the road to spinoff. Even if Google were to purchase the remaining IAC (meaning what remains after Ticketmaster, HSN, LendingTree, Interval were spun off), it wouldn't need to pay that much because the leftover IAC would have a much smaller market cap than it has right now. Moreover, the leftover IAC is still composed of many web brands, some of which might be interesting to Google but most of which wouldn't be. A company as diverse as IAC would be quite difficult to integrate. Finally, the goal of a company is profit. Google might want to buy IAC if it's a threat to Google or if its web properties can earn Google more moeny than it paid for. There are probably many more reasons that I left out... If I must choose between guessing Google will buy IAC or Monsters,
