They need to go the way of the Dinosaur! I got burned on 10/9/2008
between 2:30 and 3:00 when the volume picked up. I canceled my sell order , ( I refreshed the screen to be sure). Their server was busy at the time and did not process the cancel that I placed at 10/09/08 14:22:20 for 400 shares of SMN. Because of that the sell order that should have been canceled triggered at 15:01:22. As of Friday EOD I am out of $4456. I spend 70+ hours a week working on my trading, risking funds, when i get it right on my end there is still the incompetence of the Broker to deal with! TD Ameritrade won't work with you when you need them, you are so right! Jack in Atl
