I was expecting BJ's to beat earning today and it did. however instead
of the stock going up it's going down 4%? Is there something I'm
missing here? please explain.

I was wondering the same thing. I figured I could make a quick couple
hunderd bucks but, I ended up losing a couple hundred. Although if I
had waited another 20 minutes to buy, I could have made $500. The
stock is up 20% in the past 3 months. Maybe everyone decided it was
time to get out.
