country is isolated from the rest of the world and coal is available
in fixed supply and
evermore costly to extract, what will be the long run effect of the
price control in the
electricity market?

Even if the cap is not binding, we know that there will be problems

Bought some calls earlier after what I saw as an unwarranted drop in
price. But the stock has gone down and down. At this point I am down
50%. It isnt a ton of money but its a fair portion of my portfolio.
My calls are long dont expire until January so I feel like I having
nothing keeping me from holding them for a recovery. But just posting

Probably that the Chinese government suggested a cap on electrical
rates that HNP can charge, but coal prices have moved up due to
shortages, therefore a margin squeeze for HNP.

Guess we'll see how it all plays out...not exactly the most
predictable situation.

hi. new to hnp and very interested. forgive my ignorance but what
caused the 50% drop in HNP's share price in less than 6 months? coal/
commodities prices? the extraordinary winter? thanks in advance for
