Had a short term trade stopped out by the big dip to 2.30. Got in at
2.50. Anyone else buying? What's the cause of the sell-off?

I don't get it. This is the same old "news" that has been floating
around for weeks, months, years. What's different this time? Who spoke?

Espicially since E*Trade's coverage of KRY news has been rather slim.

Minister in Venezuela, don't know which minister, said that
nationalization of mines is being eyed.  That is all I ve read...looks
like Chavez isn't kidding about Fatherland, Socialism or death.  Now
isnt the time I believe to be involved in Venezuela.

--Venezuela, in addition to planning the nationalization of other key
sectors of the economy, eyes the nationalization of the mining
industry, the country's foreign minister said Thursday.

"The basic industries of minerals should be in the hands of the
national state," Foreign Minister Nicholas Maduro said. He spoke at the
sidelines of a summit of leaders of the Common Market of the South, or
Mercosur trade block, taking place here Thursday and Friday.

Maduro, however, didn't elaborate on the issue of nationalizing the
mining industry.

A number of Canadian, U.S. and Brazilian mining companies are
operating in Venezuela.

I don't think Venezuela is an investor friendly environment...however I
don't see Chavez doing the Castro style expropriations.  Chavez has
more than enough money to pay fair value for the nationaliztion of
these companies in telecom, energy, mining, etc.  We shouldn't lose
everyhting.  If he is smart, he will realize that he will need
professinal companies like Crystallex, Chevron, Verizon, etc in order
to provide investment and modernizations.  If Chavez allows local
miners to mine the Las Cristinas project, it will make him popular but
will be a poor recovery of the mines and probably be an environmental
disaster.  I feel bad for Venezuela, the effects of Chavez will be
disasterous for Venezuela.

It's funny, these huge drops happen regularly with this stock. I wonder
what the risk/reward would be to always having a limit order open at
50-75 cents below the current price. I would have loved to got in at
$2.22. The price was just above $2.30 when I noticed the drop and I
couldn't get an order through until it was up to $2.55. That's 33 cents
I missed out on there.
