I can't say what you should do I will tell you my situation. I have
500 shares and at this point with the stock as low as it is it would
cost me more money to sell then to just let them vanish on their own.

According to the July 9, 2009 (Form 8-K Item 8.01 Other events),
Nanogen believes there will be no value for common stockholders.
Stockholders will only get paid after all the secure and unsecured
creditors are fully paid, and with there debit it would be unlikely to
see a payout.

What will be the composition for the stockholders? The company has
sale for about 25m$ and the number of shares about 80m. depending on
that a roughly calculations main one share costs 0.3$.
