Subject: From Motley Fools: eBay Stole My Windorphins
This isn't the story that I wanted to write about, but I have to get
it off my chest. eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) wrapped up its eBay Live conference in Boston over The event coincided with the launch of Windorphins.com, which eBay So far, so good. The problem is that this is where I have to insert Well, that sneeze guard shattered to bits earlier this year. And to Looking for Windorphins.com Windorphins? "People have always come to eBay for the fun and the thrill of the Bingo. I can work with that. Even though Whitman indicated that the word was the convergence of Had I stumbled onto a virgin buzzword? It certainly seemed that way. I registered the domain on March 8, three days after Whitman spoke at It was mid-May, and a friendly person from eBay's corporate I was going over any recent published references to eBay in my head, A tale of losedorphins She told me that it was a lapse on eBay's part. That Whitman had It was a ridiculously awkward position to be in. She explained that I was too conflicted to play hardball. The last thing that I wanted to * eBay is an active recommendation in the Motley Fool Stock So I stopped her a few minutes into the hard sell. I come in peace. I Case closed? Well, not exactly. The whole situation had me scratching Right? Well, it turns out that eBay didn't file the Windorphins trademark Was I duped or misled into handing over the domain? I'd say $100,000.00 minimum value on that domain name. The article
doesn't seem to say, but acts as if the domain owner just gave it to ebay. That's pretty stupid. Makes you reconsider believing anything you read at Motleyfool. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

1) I know some people gave up their domain names because they got
calls from eBay lawyers. They threat you you know. 2) I believe there are so many dump people rule this planet. 3) I think the author is not that bright otherwise he still has his domain name. unlike other companies, eBay use communist's strategies. If you don't know eBay well, eBay screw you good. The author "trusted" eBay. 4) If the article is not true, eBay lawyers are now at Motley. Motley has to remove it by now. *do not trust (believe) eBay, period You must Sign in before you can post messages.

A lawsuit (just like they did to others)
more than a year ago, they threated the owner of ebaymotorsucks.com, ebaysucks.com. The guy hold his ground. He didn't budge a bit. (eBay laywers couldn't do anything about it. Sorry eBay lost. The owner said it's eba y sucks or something like that. it's quite long ago, i do not recall clearly. ebaysucks.com does not have anything to do with eBay LOL. Those sites are still there) You must Sign in before you can post messages.
