eBay Inc. |
What would eBay have threatened him with? Coughing on him and
spreading their contagious stupidity and lack of foresight?
Anyone who praises Meg must be crazy. First it seems that she let the
cat out of the bag prematurely using the word "Windorphins" and her
underlings failed to register the domain. I wish I had thought about
that months ago when she first said it. But actually I couldn't
believe what a dumb word that was and even joked about how ridiculous
it was with other eBay sellers locally.
All the original registrant had to do was stick a landing page at that
address that said, "Welcome to Windorphins.com, home of Windorphins" -
or some such thing and he would have had the trademark. btw - you
can't trademark a domain name as far as I know, but you can trademark
a company name, word or phrase that appears in a website simply by
publishing the site to the www.
