Who emerges as the winners from the entire subprime, credit mess? Bank
of America (nyse: BAC - news - people ), Wells Fargo (nyse: WFC - news
- people ), JP Morgan Chase (nyse: JPM - news - people ), Bank of New
York (nyse: BK - news - people ) and on a smaller, regional basis,
U.S. Bancorp (nyse: USB - news - people ) and Marshall & Ilsley (nyse:
MI - news - people ) all come out in great shape and more importantly,
poised for true earnings growth. These banks all pay hefty dividends
in the 4% to 7% range and patient investors would be wise to start
accumulating these stocks.
