Fast MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) moved to positive
territory, therefore it seeps that AU could be a strong momentum play
here as well.

Fast MACD crossed over the Slow MACD on 3-17-2006 with the stock
closing at 50.16, or down -$.14 on the day. Now the stock closed at
54.29, with a +$3.37 increase on higher than normal volume.

Also, Money Flow Indicator has increased from 35 on 3-17-2006 to 68 on
04-04-2006. This is a great indicator that the stock is under
accumulation. RSI is a moderate 58, indicating a bit of headroom for
some strength in the stock.

Historically looking, on 11-17-2005 AU looked to be in a similar
position. Fast MACD moved above the center line, with MFI at a 64, and
RSI at 62. It had just finished testing the 50 week MA line. Since
then, the stock has ran up a cool $20. or 50%

Since the entire metal producers industry is moving highter as well.
