You ll see the split on July 23th. split 2:1, this is a good stock and
It is predicted to have a very strong earnings.

So I need to buy in before the stock opens on the 23rd to get in
before the split?

Sorry, I am new to stocks and not fully informed on splits. If I buy
in before them, then I will basically own double when it splits at
half the price?

How do you know it's happening the 23rd?

It is too late to take part in the split. You would have had to own
the stock by COB last friday, and hold until at least this wednesday.

doesn't really matter.  it's not like a dividend.  just buy twice as
many shares as you would have before.  Same deal.  If it goes up
(which is likely) then who cares, you'll get better gains today at the
lower price (percentage-wise) and that's what's good.  lower price =
bigger percentage gains at lower $ changes  ($3 = 10% of $30 vs. 5% of
60).

mining company clarifies the details of its two-for-one stock split

    The correct Record and Payment dates are as follows:

splits do not mean anything. imagine a pie instead of splitting it 10
pieces you just split it to 20 smaller pieces. it is still the same
pie.

Split is like you said, but how many times I wanted to buy Google; but
a piece of share is more than 480; if were a little bit cheaper
(split)  I could have buy it.
