Subject: Way Undervalued
This stock is incredibly undervalued. It's selling for less than 25%
of it's cash net of all liabilities, not to mention its incredibly valuable 69.9% ownership of QXM, who's market value is over $100 M (which is also selling for less than its cash net liabilities) and not including the value of its core businesses. You must Sign in before you can post messages.

The fundamentals are great, but management is corrupt. Listen to their
April 15 conference call. I don't remember the exact numbers, but the company bought a company/assets at a way inflated price from XING's own CEO. Book value per share was cut in half instantly. Listen to the conference call... the fact that this stuff goes on makes me very wary of investing in Chinese companies. On Apr 3, 2:02 pm, Tom Corson-Knowles <tcors...@gmail.com> wrote:

Right now you could liquidate this company and gain a profit from it.
This one is like sears holdings, worth more dead than alive. Makes me think of the stories about the great depression. Apperantly you had also a lot of these skeleton companies in that time. I wonder if the FED has got something to do with this one too? oops...shhhuuuut ;-) On 25 apr, 00:02, bubaghanu...@gmail.com wrote:

Where are you getting XING's book value from? The most recent info on
Google seems to be Q2 of 2008. On May 29, 1:09 am, sjiang...@gmail.com wrote:

This thing has to go up, a lot of stocks already gained back their

How much would you people value XING? If you look at assets minus
debt, it's about 3 billion in value. If you look at P/E, you must not forget Chinese companies typicaly trade at P/E ratio of 50. But this is all going by the book. We all know this one is undervalued, but how much you think? On 4 jun, 17:57, sjiang...@gmail.com wrote:

I'm not sure where you got $3B value from but I sincerely hope you are
not forgetting that google finance reports this companies assets in CYN and not in Dollars. Wouldn't want any one making an investment decision on a mistake like that! On Jun 5, 4:41 am, sjiang...@gmail.com wrote:

Thanks to Sam
There was some of the reason of the difficulty valuing this correctly
Based on their filings:
EPS:
In their 3 Quarter Filing The EPS of 0.07 UDS equavalate 0.49 RMB
Google Finance is incorrectly mixing the 2 currencies in their
A more correct EPS with todays shareprice will be: 2.03/0.37 = 5.49
(Still very cheap and they have got a huge pile of cash)
I have calculated

Yes, the valuation is very attractive.
Assuming the company didn't cook their books, of course.
It still holds 2/3 of NYSE:QXM and seems to be switching to raw
See:

Looking at QXMs valuation, XING is way undervalued.
Anybody with more insight, thanks for comments.

this company is now in the coking coal business. it's the coal used to
fire up the ovens in steel production. so as the economy recovers... check out two canadian companies in the coking coal business trading on the TSE grand cashe coal GCE, and western canadian WTN. both are up big time recently. i expect XING to soar pretty soon as well. I agree with ya. Also, Xing has a market cap that is lower than its
shareholders' equity, debt is insignificant and they have posted a profit. This company is a buy and hoard until it stops dropping. In the case it drops to 0, then buy 100% of it for free, then unwind it and get yourself with many times worth what you paid by liquidating assets and getting cash of the company.
