It's come to my attention that regardless of how the company is doing
and the volume traded (500k-1.5 mil/day?), this is stock and
continuously being dragged down (trading marginally below the end of
day value of the stock) by a mixture of specific people trading either
"100" "600", "1000" or "4.5k", quantities during the after hours.

Nevermind. Bloomberg is announcing that the related companies are
posting higher earnings. If they short those b/c of the bullish
price, UTSI could easily go to 5.50 in a week.

Low will be sharp and hard, but I only estimate 40-60 mil. outstanding
w/ steady buy @ 2.80-3.34 over the last 5 weeks.

So... if the low is sharp and hard today @ 3.47-3.60, will the high

Me too. I had to short on Tuesday so I could get AMD. I made some
good money shorting that, so I got back into UTSI today @ 3.07

So if you're still long, I'm going to hang in there with you.

Great company w/ revenue in US and Asia.

We might be longs for awhile, but it will definitley pay off.

Most certainly they are saleable, the company has over 3000 IP
patents, and if you listen to the last CC they mentioned that they are
selling some of them, as well as licensing others, however they
mentioned that core intellectual assets will remain with the company,
unless of course the whole company is sold.

This is just a standard case of the market being overly pessimistic,
it is true that the company has operational challenges, but trading at
50% under book is ridiculous, not to mention that book value is not
really accurate since it is severely discounting the company
intellectual property assets.

Lesson:
Look at volume today... That's the people from the conference trying
to be "smooth". As if we can't tell.

I would Hold! The proj. price will be around 12-16 a share after
their fiscal announcement.
The big companies know this and they are trying to get you to sell.
These big companies buy the stock in large quanities, bumping the
volume. Good for day traders. The problem is they can manipulate the
value by supply and demand, hoping to get as many shares as possible.

Depends. It's 95% Inst. Own. They are jacking with the prices. I
have been watching them aftermaket hours. INET is the biggest owner.
Their last set of 60,000 shares is priced at 4.85.
