After market zijn we reeds naar $44.97 gegaan.

Benieuwd waar we vandaag gaan eindigen.

The thing I understand about China stocks is that U don't have to
look
at the price earnings, but at the long term positive future of
China's
growth.

That's why the Chinese stockmarkets go extreme high or extreme low
( in panic ), because the story in the long run is unbelieveble

The stock could'n stay above 40$ past days, but very soon it will be
over 40$.
Chinese economy is improving also the rest of the world, it's almost a
miracle.

A new article has been posted, which stated that the SINA mgnt would
repurchase $180mn shares.

What influence might this have on this stock?

I assume this is a good thing, since they're expecting the stock price
to go up.
In the meantime it's beneficial for the EPS.

Great to see you writing some updates on this stock.

As mentionned a couple of times before, this is a great stock to own.
Just sit back and watch it go up the roof.

As surreel as $100 might seem at the moment, we all know it's just a
matter of time.

You can't ignore that the Chinese market is still a volatile market

If U see at the long term graphic of Sina, U notice that in 2000 the
price went in no time from 20$ to above 40$.

That's almost 10 years ago.

Then the price crashed to about 1$ because of dangers of no freedom of
speech on internet or wathever.

We went above the 40$ in 2000, and that 2 times more as well in 2004

Vandaag vlotjes boven de $36 geopend.

SINA zal verlenging van de deadline van de Chinese overheid niet zal
afwachten ivm overname van Focus Media Holding.

Gezien de zeer gemengde gevoelens van de aandeelhouders in het
verleden omtrent de overname, lijkt dit toch positief onthaald te
worden.

Ja de india en China warrants is bijna om te huilen, maar whatever, ik
hou ze ook bij voor de toekomst, die komen zeker terug.
JRJC niet aan twijfelen dat blijft mijn lieveling, wacht maar als
Shanghai terug op ATH staat.

Ook voor Lenovo ziet de toekomst er goed uit, vooral omdat de Chinese
boeren die computers met een forse korting dankzij de Chinese regering

Hey Artist !

Ik volg nog steeds je Chinese aandelen op:
SINA, JRJC, Lenovo, STP, SVA, (ICAWA en INIWA met wisselend succes
zoals je wel weet ;-))

Voorlopig vind ik enkel JRJC echt teleurstellend. Laag volume en
weinig tekenen tot herstel.

Toch blijf ik gewoon alles behouden voor lange termijn, ik verkoop

SINA is steadily rising to the $35 level

I hope it can break it this time and move onwards.

I really enjoy this stock.
It has so much potential.. I love to have it in my port for the

According to Charles Chao, Sina's CEO, the deal is not gonna be
approved by China's anti-trust authority by end of 3Q09. They are in
negotiation with FMCN to restructure the deal or scrap it all
together.

Immediate impact seems to be limited for SINA because its lower than
consensus guidance for 3Q will put a lid on its stock price movement
