The thing I understand about China stocks is that U don't have to

at the price earnings, but at the long term positive future of
China's
growth.

That's why the Chinese stockmarkets go extreme high or extreme low
( in panic ), because the story in the long run is unbelieveble

A new article has been posted, which stated that the SINA mgnt would
repurchase $180mn shares.

What influence might this have on this stock?

I assume this is a good thing, since they're expecting the stock price
to go up.
In the meantime it's beneficial for the EPS.

growth.

That's why the Chinese stockmarkets go extreme high or extreme low
( in panic ), because the story in the long run is unbelieveble
positive and never has been that great in the future of Capitalism.

Morgan, my ex employer, issued its 2Q report on Sina, claiming that:
1. the worst is over. Sina's management themselves didn't even dare to
say so today at the conference call. Its low ball guidance show that
the company still depends on manipulating its revenue guidance to
