Commenting on the results, Mr. Zhiguo Fu, Chairman and CEO of Advanced
Battery Technologies, stated, "We are pleased with the progress that our Company has made despite the difficult economic environment. We were able to achieve suitable revenue growth for the quarter, although we will strive for greater growth in 2009 with increased production capacity and tighter cost controls. As such, we expect the expanded assembly line in Harbin to be operational late in the second quarter of 2009, which will add the production capacity enabling an additional $22 million in revenue generation for 2009. We remain optimistic about our continued growth in the remainder of the year and currently our backlog for the battery business is approximately $64.0 million as of early May." Not with China Industrial growth decreasing in this psuedo depression
and the Bike company they now own. What?they didn't do their homework before buying it to see its worth and revenue potiential and liabilities. Sounds like a possible set back. This is probably a long term big winner. I will take a qucik profit on this one and get back in after a pull back to support in the $2.60 range. Still have 3000 shares. Did the same, pulled out at 3.70 and will get back in around
2.70-2.80. This baby is a momentum Stock, been trading it for a couple years now. Once it finds it direction it follows it. You have too many small players in this that are not ready for a long term investment. As long as institutionals getting their hands around this and calm the volatility, this is a volatile b... I like it though, wish i had the balls at 1.50 when I thought about

You may still get your chance there is still a lot of fear of a deeper

The company is in China not the US. Did anyone listen to the earnings
call? ABAT will make batteries but continue to buy companies that use batteries such as bike company they recently purchased. the short term I like the company. Running a consumer product company is a lot different that selling batteries to Manufactures. The CEO did not know any specifics regarding the electric bike industry in China.
