I hink you might have a better handle on this question =nerd.
Looks like the street hinks that it'll be a good report.
D'ya hink all those new distributors have increased sales and,
therefore, reduced relative production costs?
hat would be sweet...

Difficulty is... CPST has a nasty habit of disappointment.  I am a
believer, but they have promissed positive earnings year after year,
but keep missing.  I have no clue when this will turn around.  When it
does, I'll get back in.

Chart technicals show short term bullish; however, in reality Y2010 Q2
I think is too soon for CPST to be EPS+ (unless a miracle happens) and
I wouldn't be surprised if DJ says the economy sucks is the reason for
EPS- and I am guessing he will clarify his promise of 2010 positive
EPS as actual Y2010 and not FY2010.

Not surprised here why would anyone else be.

How many thousands of shares will the Jedi buy @ 0.75 this time?

3-year and 5-year speculation investing will be interesting for CPST.

Did you hear the CC.... wow ... I particularly like the fact that they
were betting on CPST stock to fall hard Q2 (warrant liability -- c'mon
please).

Way to be on the stockholder's side DJ...not.

Also you would think that at least 1 analyst would blast them about
how they are losing money on each unit too... so far for years.

Q1 FY2011 EPS+ Y2010?

ASAP:
Management $1 / year salary
Prohibit selling items at negative margin... DJ more minus faster
doesn't make EPS+ stop saying per Q 200 units puts you in green EPS
you tard.
(optional) Lightsaber battle layoffs/promotions (if you live you stay
in the company; more wins the higher your executive ranking) on a
weekly basis... CEO must battle CFO quarterly...

Total BS from CEO in this cc ESP when he starts going off on
speculative tangents-- hybrid vehicles.yota, yota,. I say BK by 2011
or major dilution ahead.

It is almost as if CPST management is reading our posts...

Only miracle is if someone buys them out and starts selling the
products ABOVE cost of goods.

Concur with Nerd's last post.  However, DJ stated that he though
positive EPS may be possible by end of the year.  That said, he has
stated that before.  Higher than usual volume to upside this morning,
which is a positive.  I may not get my sub $1 chance today.

enough lithium right now to support the consumer and automotive
market.  The automotive industry consumes will consume too much
Lithium...prices goin up...buy in!  Potash I believe controls/ownes
old dictator Pinoche family's Lithium operation which is the largest
in the world....

I did not listen to the CC, but looking at the results.... wow,
horrible.  From .06 loss to .20 loss???  And people on this board were
expecting .03 or .04?

This has got to be a serious wake up call for all you longs still
hanging in there.  With the non-cash write-down, Capstone's book value
has now decreased to just $19.5M, or 10.3 cents a share.  Even at 1.13
it is trading at 11x book value.  I don't know of a single green
energy company trading at that high a premium, even FSLR (which is
very profitable btw).

Wow, I won't touch this with a ten foot pole.  Maybe I will have to
break my long held rule of never shorting companies who produce good
products I believe in.  CPST is certainly starting to look like a good
short.

Lithium Play,

Interresting.  Can anyone think of a greater alternative to a lithium
battery installed in a vehicle?
I cant believe lithium is on the fense.  CPST turbo installed ford;
will the lithium shortage bring CPST's long shot installation more
into view?

http://www.a123systems.com/a123/applications/transportation

Even these guys use lithium...though it seems their product doesn't
always.

POT is at $109...and does look like a good trade today...

It would blow me away... if for some reason CPST became commonly used
in vehicles....makes perfect sense...:)

Most definately...from the looks of the stock drop after the
CC...thumbs down on CPST today...
Guess people are just not interrested in a high burn rate company in
todays economy..
CPSt will pull through...this year is a big one....if it were not for
the sales...if would have been buy out scenario.
more people will drop out as time goes on...as CPST becomes more
risky...
