Yes, there is a reason for NOT. Look at GOOG. I don't think the
lower valuation is effective for this sized company, for the industry
they are in, the fact that 86 percent of SOHU is institutionally
owned.
The lower value is good for the retail sector of purchasers; the stock

I think it's a case of buy the rumor sell the fact. We had a nice run
up before earnings and after the numbers came out everyone is taking
profits. It's a traders market so alot of people are quickly in and
out of stocks if they're in the black. The only semi negative news was
the eps for q2 was below estimates. I don't know if the analyst

Look at the 9-month chart. It seems to be a triple bottom pattern
established. Recently break 50, so there should be a rally soon. Maybe
touch 70.

SODU and BIDU are in lockstep. Overly a 12 month chart of both. Look
at that thing. There are arm in arm. I know BIDU has been on a tear
the last 4 months-- generally regaining the drop it took (which SODU
didn't) the fall of 2008. So, whatever BIDU does in the over the
summer likely SODU will do.

I agree, I was fooled too but I did some research on my own.
I checked the previous financial reports vs. analyst estimates. Sohu
always beats their estimates.
Sohu has the same EPS as BAIDU but the stock is worth 4 times less.
Only CYOU asset is worth $1bln. (70% of Changyou.com Limited).
So, I said to myself I can't be wrong and bought this stock back on

Sohu was downgraded few days ago. Believe or not, analysts make living
on writing, but not investing. In the dot-com burst, 90% of the well-
known analysts made a deadly wrong forecast. Back to the SOHU issue, I
entered after 3 days sell off with the price $40.10. By the way, some
immoral analysts work for big boys and they try to scare you away.

Volume was huge huge today- almost three times normal.
