I am new to this stock and I have a question about its price movement.
It's a gold stock, so I thought the stock price should move up or down
depends on gold spot price on that trading day. However, I normally
found out that this stock didn't move in the same direction most of

gold is used as a counterweight as previously mentioned; its an
investment better than OIL right now because high oil prices helped
deteriorate the market due to no one spending, now that oil is lowest

I think the market will be shrinking because of economic concerns in
the future. Now government gives their bailout to ANYONE without
thinking of inflation. The market is not recognizing right now, but
gradually will do.

If the dollar continues to weaken this goes up. If gold prices go up
this goes up. If US stock exchanges go up this goes up. I don't see

I realize a new president can cause quite a bit of drama. Just
realize the President or the government in general has little effect
on how your stocks will perform. Raising the LTGC tax should not mean
much if you have a diversified portfolio of stocks and not mutual
funds where you can control the gains and not be at the whim of a fund

GFI does not have enough "capital" or liquid assets, which is why it's
stuck is suffering from what i've read around the net. Comparatively,
they're operating expenses are leaner due to this. . . i think a
better company would a better investment at this moment.
