Its core business is doing just fine with all gov't supports and
subsidies.  But it keeps losing money on other financial related
investments.  For example, let Lehman borrow shares(unreturnable),
issued debets with complicated stock convertible options(fully
dilution to existing investors' shares), and invested in bad joint
venture.  Let their CFO or financial manangement know that they need
to focus on their core business.  If you only know how to sell
hamburgers don't try to trade gold.   It is not something you are good
at.

if only you could hear me clap... well put. I HOPE that they have all
the BS behind them and their JV in China will yield some gains. might
this bring a first in i don't no how many quarters of some up beat
news?
