Subject: Messages from JPM Shareholders
I think that it is time to leave this board. I am selling all of my
JPM stock tomorrow. I do not want to make money on the sufferings of
others. Nothing against any of you but truthfully I do not want to be
associated with this. I saw that young couple on TV that lost there
life savings, I have read all the WM posts and I even owned about 5000
shares. I also had 15000 shares of JPM in the event that they did buy
out WM like a good investor would. But I don't want to make money this
way. I profited at the expense of others in what was in my mind a
shady deal to say the least. These are real people and reading the
board tonight with all the gloating and "I am going to be rich" posts
just kind of sickens me. Many of those people will have a horrible
Thanksgiving and Christmas let alone suffer financial ruin. Why cause
we could not offer a couple of bucks a share? Sorry I like to make
money but not when I have to screw over fellow Americans to make it. I
am going to donate my profits to a food bank and pray God forgives me
for my small part in this.

Sprinter, I wish I could join you in your Decission. I however am
still in the middle of my life God willing. i was Born into this
culture of save and invest, or if given, save that, work hard, and
save and invest. anyway. My JPM shares are old and income for my
childrens future. I have as you and many others Lost more on paper for
now but given the recent squalking from the courts its our government
thats got us in this possition. I would always here my grandpa, then
my dad Complain that after a lifetime of earning and subsequent paying
taxes in the high bracket!! At the end of their Life 55% more of there
money is handed to the government to do things like create the FDIC in
1913 for instance. anyway im ramblin. everyones in the same boat
really we are just pawns in this game called life. when I leave this
earth all this will be left behind. But while we are here we must
follow our personal principles handed down like shares of stock,
invest them in our future and never be caught waivering from those
core principles. you sir have Integrity, and theres something thats
gone the way of the handshake. Thats a deal.
Cya on the west coast of things.

Oh my god. This is America. We are founded on the right to pursue
happiness. Who gives a fuck if people made bad decisions, as long as
you made the right ones.If you sell now, I promise you, you will look
back and regret the decision. If you buy a diamond, are you sure it
isnt a blood diamond from africa? If you put gas in your car, are you
sure it wasnt oil received during a bloody coup, or a turf war, or
rebel Somalis killing people to take control of the pipeline? Some of
the best stocks are tobacco, or alcoholic beverages. Both of which has
had a hand in killing. How about McDonalds. They cut down rain
forests, and that might put people in those areas of africa and south
america out of their homes. And what about the food giving people
heart attacks.
You are a shareholder, not a CEO. You have no part of this. Hold on to
your shares, and be happy that in a few years, you could use the money
and give it to charity or something. You havent done anything wrong,
and this wasnt your fault. People that lost money on WM shouldnt have
been allowed to invest anyway. It was a bad play, and if something is
too good to be true, it usually is. If they lost their retirement,
then they didnt learn investing 101. It is a rule that if you are
nearing retirement, and you cant afford to bet on stocks, then your
money should be in Bills, bonds, etc. You shouldn't have tried to make
a quick buck betting on a poorly run business that was on sale for
less than 2$. Instead, they could have bought something with a
dividend, or a stock like AA, or MCX, etc.
Dont feel guilty that someone made a mistake. Instead, relish in the
fact that you were smart enough to make the right decision, and bought
into a bank that was picked by the government as the banks that would
repopulate the earth after the financial armageddon a la the
Matrix.

Oh wow, I got suckered in. He is one of those faggots that cry on here
every day? Then he should get the fuck out of the market, and move to
pre-1980's Russia. Him, Stalin, and Marx would have a fun time together

I say let him go; he never really provided anything positive to these
posts, all he did was whine and complaint about JPM/OTS/FDIC/FED, and
about how much they "screwed" him; he didn't even understand what his
shares represented, and now he is "guilty" about his profits?  GTFOH!
Obviously greed is not a concern for him, because the only reason
anyone would "invest" in something like WM, is greed!  That sucker was
just trying to cash in on what he thought was a smart move, and what
did he do?  He lost his freaking retirement money, that my friends is
greed at work, because like Josh said, he should have been careful
with his money.  So, I don't buy this whole, "I don't want to make a
profit at your expense" crap- capitalism is a zero sum game!  He
belongs at WaMuRape.com and all these other wacko blog sites with his
buddies; I bet that TWSprinter and some of his crazy WM buddies
probably sent those letters to JPM's branches.  He strickes me as the
type of off-the-wall psycho that would do something like that.  Now
that he is leaving, maybe these blogs can finally have something else
other than, TWS' crazy rants.

All these boards are a farce, if the freedom to share your thoughts
and information is continually pounded down with hate and ignorance.
Call it what you will because its what you will be creating by
continuing your Rants about what another man should do with his
rights. Back to France they live like that. not here in America, land
of the free.

Personally I find Sprinter's obsession with the WaMu/JPM deal and his
cries of a conspiracy disturbing. It is quite obsessive.
Anyways, he's a bitter guy... I am starting to wonder if he is  the A-
hole sending the envelopes of white powder to the Chase and WaMu
branches??????? He seems to fit the profile of someone being obsessed
and distraught enough. Perhaps we should point the FBI in his
direction.

Aboalima:  "Sell"?, please explain; don't just post random shit, we
get enough of that from TWS, go ahead and provide us your deep
analysis on your sell rating.  P.S. no funny number mixing crap, I
want to see your valuation model.

GOD DAMN IT! I am writing in all caps in order to show I mean it. I
would use bold red type if they allowed me to on here.
Shore, the reason we get angry at these people is because we are
legitimate shareholders that want to have intelligent conversation. If
you want to go to a board that is covered in nutjobs, go to WM. It is
conspiracy central. We are tired of hearing people come on here with
their half-assed shit about how JPM is the devil, and Jamie is Satans
and Hitlers love child (I could have given a south park reference
there).
The US isnt in great shape. JPM does have a few bad assets on the book
But they are not going under, instead I could easily see Dimon go in
and start buying deposits from quality regional banks that got caught
up in LEH and AIG. We are going to come back. The first thing you must
remember is that the US got the flu, but the world is suffering from
Malaria. When we come out of this, and we will, and the rest of the
world starts to get better, JPM will be in great shape along with GS,
BAC, Wells, and C.
I am long US financials, and short emerging markets, with a large
position shorting emerging markets. I dont short with options, I short
with inverted ETF's, which might fuck me, because it includes China,
but Ill live.
I have said this before, but this was a once in a lifetime
opportunity. I will be one day telling my grandkids (Because this will
be in the history books), that I bought AAPL and GS for <100, BAC for
22, JPM for 40, C for 13, and others. I am more than happy to take the
loss, just because I'm not investing in companies, I am investing in
my belief in this country.
And does anyone know how the middle east is doing? I know they must be
feeling this oil pinch, and I heard that Iran, Quatar and Russia are
looking to form a Cartel, like OPEC, for natural gas. It was in todays
WSJ. That scares me for Europe, but we should be ok right.

And one last thing in the Geo-political front, did anyone notice a
story pushed to the back pages? Russia is conducting naval military
execersizes in Venezuela and Cuba, a few miles off our coast. I only
say this because even if we get out of this, will we have an issue
with our red friends off the coast of Alaska? BC then you know where
the Gov'y is going to get their funding right? American banks like
good old JPM. This isnt a conspiracy thing, just thought it would be
nice when I start to add my BA and LMT positions next quarter

The government facilitated all those acquisitions by JPM (think Bear
Stearns) for a reason. Dimon is a damn genius, and JPM is going to
come out of the other end of this adjustment as a  major - MAJOR -
player. Something akin to its namesake.
