The street loves divestitures and Dow continues to sell assets.
Synergies with Rohm and Haas are exceeding previous estimates, this in
generating a lot of confidence.

By year end Dow should have loan for R&H paid off.   Then Liveris will
eventually raise the dividend back up ("I wont lower the dividend.
Not on my watch").  It's a matter of pride/ego for him.  Two future
positives that will drive PPS up as well.

Dow should be about $29 soon and $35 or so in 9 months.  I will sell
at $36.

OK Guys, here's a little history lesson. My father was one of the
Chemical Engineers that brought Dow to Texas. I've been trading Dow,
personally, for over 40 years. You want to hang on because, if history
is an indicator, Dow could vascilate all the way to 70. I've seen it,
in MY trading years, make it well past 100! Of course that was during
the days of regular 2 for 1 splits. Just hang on and enjoy the ride
kids. I have increased my position by nearly 5,000 shares just in the
past few months. I have full faith that we're going to make a little
money on this one. If nothing else, take Warren Buffett's lead. This
man does not invest a cent of his money without doing his homework and
he is in this thing BIG TIME for the long haul.

Good luck guys!
G'Pa

I'm glad I picked up DOW about 6months ago at its lows for an average
of $6.60. I am in it for the long haul.

I was the same, got in too early at 15. When it hit 6.60 though you
just could not turn it down, so I averaged down then.

My mistake was when it dropped from 15 I should have sold out and
taken a loss rather than hang on.

Not complaining about where the price has gone since then though!
