day traders will always try to make a cent even if this stock is in
the 40s or 50s. I think everyone decent is waiting for this stock to
skyrocket before selling. We will see some uptight movement soon
enough. Big buyers are just around the corner , waiting for things to
calm down to see what current estimated value is.

All of the volume came before 10:30 too. Not many shares have traded
hands since. Everyone just stampeded on the open and tried to get a
quick profit.

There is an awful lot of people that bought low in the past few weeks,
even into the teens, for them .40+ is good money. I expect a good rise
in the next few days after the sell off but thats just a guess.

The interesting point here is that the pre-market run-up was dominated
by a few banks and brokerages buying and selling equal lots...ie
400k...600k all in 1~2 cent intervels. These are the players who are
MANIPULATING this stock like it is their personal toy. We'll see the
shake out of quite a few of these positions today and tomorrow but
every day, you'll see the trading range set by these pigs in the after/
pre market!

Now dont rag on me for this , you said you wanted serious answers.

People don't like to hear bad new , and I'm not bashing this company ,
but , as I've been saying all along:

It could be that this company is fully valued at the current sp , last
time it went up to .48 before approval and dropped afterwards.

This time it went as high as .54 , that's a 600% rise in share price
from 10 months ago , the fundamentals just aren't there to indicate ,
that just because of approval , this company is instantly worth 1000%
or more than it was a year ago.

I hope you all do well , but it's youre money and it's your risk.

Even guys like Andrey are now urging everyone to by more at anything
under .50 , and yet just yesterday he was posting that he thought it
wasn't going to be approved , and was all sad about it.

You are investing in hype and market sentiment now , it can go either
way , as it allways could.

Good Luck.

Not just selling, it's selling AND shorting. Unfortunately, this is

Agreed. Personally, I think we needed a much, much, much higher short

Oh I am in for the haul here, I have a number in mind and will sell
then so I can move onto some other stocks to play with.

I hope maybe by Christmas I can see some good numbers.

Thanks all for keeping this on point, good so far.

Have you done any research on NRI? If so, you would not have been
surprised to see the announcement today and you should not be
surprised that the the market is not pricing any higher than the $.42
- $.46 range. If you are holding long, it's because you can see the
potential for exceptional growth over time. Considering the conference
call this morning, I would say that is an excellent bet. But just
because you are investing based on the underlying fundamentals of the
business, doesn't mean that others are too. Anyone can trade in and
out of a stock - it doesn't take the so called big MM (money
managers). At $6.95 per trade, it's easy to shave off a little profit
by trading in and out of volatile stocks.

If you like the story here, be patient and let it play itself out.

effect on the market. You just follow the trend. For myself I already
have too much income taxable trading to justify trading NRI for
peanuts.

Everyone wants immediate results now.  We just hit a 52 week high
today!  All those who held shares for the past year and a half are
cashing in, no surprise there.  The stock is reseting for the next run
up.  But, remember this stock was trading at $13 in it's history and
that was just on R&D on Pennsaid, now that's it available to largest
drug market in the world were would the price go!  Down or up?

BoWing, that historical price was on a fraction of shares and
speculation during a bull market. Very different conditions. Read the
Reuters history on all the various offerings since then. Now we are
entering an easier period of valuation but, without guidance from
Covidien or some targets from some analyst there should be more
movement before it settles.

If you have patience, I bet a $1 by the end of the year.  I wish I
have more money to invest in at this price.  Now the drug is approved,
you don't have to worry about share price coming down.  They survived
a 12+ years of R&D, now about time to make money for the company.

Perhaps Covidien is interested in acquiring Nuvo afterall. Conspiracy
theories aside, its not unreasonable that Covidien would have an
interest in keeping Nuvo at an attractive price. With, lets say a 10
million purchase in stock at an average price of .20 - .25 how many
days could they manipulate the market price? Obviously Covidien didn't
purchase any Nuvo stock, but that does not mean that they didn't hire
someone to do so on their behalf. I'm not trying to be far fetched
here but you have to admit that an increase of only 20% in SP after
gaining access to one of the largest markets in the world, not to
mention the implications this decision will have on other market
sales, seems unintuitive.

Now I realize that .40 is still an increase of 300% over 10 months but
don't forget that we were coming out of one of the worst economic
downturns in decades. Further, Nuvo didn't, back then, have the same
cash position they have today, the possibility of bankruptcy in
January 09 or even for a year prior was probably at the back of
investors minds.

This is pure speculation,
