That is just for the copper.  There are additional metals that come
with the copper such as gold and moly (ie metal credits) that reduce
the average cost to around $1.15.  Not a great margin, but not in loss
territory at this point. Less efficient companies such as QUA will
likely report loses.  FM is one of the more efficient copper miners
with good assets, but it has some political risks in Africa.

China has a huge infrastucture stimulus package though so that is one
of the main drivers of copper prices now.  I think FM is a great
company, but it's a bit overpriced here.  In this market I wouln't
invest in any company with less than a 5x upside.  I'd wait and try to
get FM around $20 later if possible.
