It seems highly unusual, since the related stocks PetroChina,Exxon
Mobil(XOM), Royal dutch shell(RDS), all are positive, or at least not

Run quick! Oil business is a CRIME that is against human. Oil business
has been illegally and wrongly traded and was pushed to so overpriced
by abusive investors. Oil price must go back to $63 a barrel which I
still see expensive.

The government regulates the prices of petroleum products but not
crude prices so it'll have little effect to CNOOC. Though the
government do impose havey taxes on excessive profit margin so the
profits could be marginalised on that front but by no way they are

yeah, the volatility is nutty but for those who can stomach it, this
company is exploring and buying like crazy. The trend is likely to be
good but price controls in China are screwing up valuations of all
China oil plays, even the ceo is not into the loss-making refining and
retailing.

Hours ago, PetroChina (PTR) signed a joint venture with Nippon Steel
to co-develop the East China Sea. That might also be a threat for the
CNOOC (CEO)'s decline.
Related, HK market dropped though the CL price is rising.

risk and re-rate equities in particular. It is no matter good news or
bad news, for now, the market dictates one direction only, going
south. Do not hold equities for now, until the bottom emerges, which,
in my view, should be tow years away.
