The early June to early July correction saw the S&P correct less than
10 percent, but many individual names retraced by 20, 30, even 50%.
It was these names that were weak during the correction that led the
charge up through July and August.

Oil ins't that high and it doesn't stop the average american from
doing anything. If you stopped average joe and asked about oil today
they might tell you that they don't even know what the price of oil is
and that they may have noticed gas going up but it's still plenty
cheap and they don't think it will go anywhere near where it was
