Subject: How does this work?
I'm interested in investing in this company and the ADR approach looks
like the easiest way of doing it. Question is when you buy the ADR
what are you getting? The stock goes up on the Shanghai market yet
down in Hong Kong and here in the U.S. It would seem the variable
would be the exchange rate but the RMB hardly moves at all. Are people
selling the stock in the U.S. because they are betting the Shanghai
performance can't hold up and see it going down soon? What's up with
this? Any thots appreciated. Thx.

hold out a bit longer the price will come down lower  right now cash
is king  as for chalco it's a good company i think all the
acquisitions that they are making now will benefit  then in the
future .... once the world economy recovers probably in 5 year or so
so yeah good long term hold
as china strive for raw material/natural resource independence  this
company will be their primary vehicles for acquisitions ... and they
have lots of  $$ right now
