It will pop back by mid day.  We cant be the green every day, it has
had quite a run lately. It is due for a small pull back.

SHorts on ABX?? I doubt there are a lot of them out there and if
therewere they closed out after the fed meeting last week.

From what I have read on yahoo message board, there still seems to be
some shorts at the low 40s level.  Maybe its just the resource sector
in general today as it is going down as well as other gold companies
though gold is steady.

Funny thing is I woke up and zombied my way to the computer and type
that without opening my eyes.  I was honestly dreaming about ABX
taking a huge hit.  lol

I also see that yesterday a doji was formed, maybe people are dumping
it based on the pattern.

before the 2nd big up.

So two questions
1) UPRJohn, where did you learn technical analysis
2) There is def more upside here over the next month right?
3) How important will their 7/31 earnigns report mvoe the stock?

this is pretty pathetic as gold should be spiking up.  inflation is at
its all time high.  financial sector is in a downward spiral and will
continue to do so like a domino effect because they invest in each
other.

the next explosion up for gold is going to be huge!  what you think?

1) I read a lot.  Tons of books at borders. hehe.
2) I think Gold stocks in the long run have upsides.  Sometimes they
make deals that aren't at actual market price of Gold.  We also have
to include the other revenues of income the company has.  I believe
silver and copper are the others.
3) You know what they say, "never hold during earnings". But I think
in this case it's different, Gold has been strong and steady and I
even think the CEO said gold had to stay at 750-800 to break even for
the company (not sure where I read that).  But I think the earnings
report will increase the value no doubt.

humm i did a quick comparison...

last year September, ABX hit 45 while gold was only 860.
In January, ABX hit 50 while gold was at 940.

ABX is increasing production this year, so I don't see why its not
around $50

Hey it's been quite a nice run the last few weeks for Barrick. There
is no doubt we will see a slight pullback before the next explosion.

computerized short!

Most trades are done systematically with computers and stuff.  I bet
maybe there was a code in there that used money to SHORT all the way
down to 45 for example from 45.3.  Knowing that at 45, people will
have stop limit orders.  So they take all the money from 45.3 to 45
and then some more with the shorters than covered...
