I am out,got in at 6.10 for 500 shares when the people on fast money
called it the balls of steel trade,I am a"glass is half full guy" but
this whole M&A business is too dodgy, they could just pay the fine of
$150,000,000 clause for not closing and walk away.As Cramer says hogs
get slaughtered!!

They are still doing loans, but only through the wholesale channel.
The reason why they closed retail and are only running wholesale is
because retail loans require you to generate leads (advertising &
marketing costs)maintain branch offices, sales staff, processors etc.
Using Wholesale, you let someone else originate the loans, which cuts
a large amount of costs out of the process, but you don't have control
of the quality of loans that people submit to you (well, you can turn
the loans down...but that's about it)

of course it's idle - the revised buyout is done. The only trades
happening are purchases by major holders.
Any 5% or institutional holders will await the final tender period and
then LEND is owned by Lonestar part and parcel. there's no play left
in this.

if you're looking for it to go any higher than 11.7 you already missed
the bus. let this go at 11.7 or tender your shares for that extra
nickel if you have the patience to wait.

There's something wrong with this deal. Like Motley said, the economy,
1st Quarter losses 260m, 2nd and 3rd Quarter should really be
interesting. Accredited isn't giving out new loans, so where's the
money coming from. They still have expenses. Loan Star isn't gonna
take on Debt. I can't see this stock going any hiigher. We'll see if
accredited has all it's tenders by october 5. This is a strange stock.
One question, this is a retail market now, so why would you close
retail and keep subprime.

Very True - but also keep in mind the same inflation factor is also
affecting worldwide gold standard.
There's no sure thing anymore, whatever you do you just gotta roll the
dice and stick with your gut.
Good luck everyone.

The Preferred Stock (AHH-P), Still has a long way to GO and current
Yield over 17 % @ 13.80 .  If all goes well with sale of Co., which
looks pretty good now, Preferred should hit the low twenties

This was a cash cow for my family too. But this is a really strange
stock. Accredited get's rid of it's retail division and keeps it's
subprime division. What's that all about, when where in a retail world
now. Subprime companies are closing left and right.  Then Lone Star
buy's the company after it forecasted that it lost 260m in the first
quarter. And in the 2nd to 3rd
quarter it will probably loose more because it stop giving out loans.
What's the deal loan star and what's thier angle. This stock is now
frozen at 11.50 or 11.60. I made cash and I researched like everyone
else, but this deal is strange.
