These 5% fluctuations are crazy. This is a good stock and I am sure

These short sellers are gonna get killed. The energy sector is
turning and NRG is the first line on the buy-out table.

A huge amount of stock market moves is now generated automatically by
computer buying and selling. Often the short term price in a stock
moves in completely irrational ways and it is impossible to predict in
most cases.

Only the long term price of a stock can be really predicted with some
accuracy.

Last time I asked this question, there was no reason and I decided to
buy. The stock is 45% up since then.

From my own calculation based on the past 12. P/E of 5 is about
right.
As for the low PE. It is probably due to low exposure and the fact
that they have a huge derivative balance. Most people don't understand
it so they choose not to touch it.

Maybe bloomberg is inaccurate, because scottrade has the following
info:

Valuation
P/E Ratio 4.7x
P/E excluding extraordinary items (TTM) 4.8x
P/E Normalized (MRFY) 7.6x
P/Sales (TTM) 0.9x

The P/F in Google is not accurate if you got the bloomberg P/E NRG
should be around 15 which represent a fast growing power plant

Anyone have any thoughts about why NRG's P/E ratio is so low? I know
the Exelon bid held them down for a while, but with the majority of
utilities with P/Es over 10, why isn't NRG trading at $60+? I know
this is just one of many indicators, but I'm curious if anyone can
shed some light on this.
