This is the app that will act as the glue for the puzzle to be
complete. This is what will change computers from what we know them to
be... Put this, together with all the other apps (Docs, Gmail, search,
etc), add gOS (which has the name -  or rather, the feel of - GOOGLE
printed on it), and kaboooom!

I agree...I also see Google coming out with an OS down the road where
all you will need is an internet connection and it will be similar in
having everyone being connected to google's OS through a Terminal
Server / Citrix sort of experience.  Processing speed, memory, disk
space will all be obsolete as you can use any machine and go as fast
as everyone else just limited by your Internet Connection.   Not for
gamers but great for the everyday users.

Dont just get hyped by these news.... can you give me couple of
reasons how GDrive can give google the extra buck to show in their
balance sheets?

They cant give context sensitive ads based on the contents in the
document as it is going to raise some serious privacy concerns... I
can only think of it as a step to popularize even more, the Google
brand name.

gOS does exist, but it stands for greenOS, and it's just another linux
distro. "gOS is not affiliated with Google or their partners" as
stated on their site.  It's gaining popularity because it's the OS
that comes with those $200 Wal-Mart PCs.

I can't wait for Google Mountain Dew.  Imagine, you could have Google
in your computer, on your phone, and now, Google in the bloodstream.
Displaying customized ads directly to your organs.
