Subject: Launch of Droid: Motorola/Verizon/Google Android OS
I am excited about the launch (expected within next week or so in US)
of the Droid. I am thinking seriously about buying this Google Experience phone (as opposed to a hybrid Android device such as HTC Hero or Motorola Cliq which builds additional layer (Sense and BLUR respectively) on top of Android, esp for social networking). This decision is personal and I appreciate many will want the integrated social network feature of the Hero and Cliq devices. The Droid is expected to run on Android 2.0 (Eclair) using Texas
