Just caught the last part of his mid-day snippet and he said that on
tonight's show he's jumping on the tech bandwagon again!?....WTF is up
with that guy? This really does smell of a pump-dump-pump....gak!
where's the SEC?

i see him pushing a rate cut expectation and that being one basis for
his tech inclination- he'll talk CSCO as well.

Again, only caught the end but he said that tech has been beat up too
much so (kind of) buy GOOG and AAPL and will say more during tonight's
show. I was searching to see if I could find an exact post and came
across his own self-rating on GOOG calls....if I read it correctly,
GOOG goes DOWN  every time Cramer says UP:

After hearing his view on google...I will never consider what this
"jerk" says again.  Your best bet is to completely ignore him IMO and
make your own decisions.  You will be better off for it.

maybe he has gotten messed up with his old nemesis from the past again
(if you know what I mean). Those chemicals can really mess with one's
judgement.

I have not followed Cramer's 'advice' for years since the NT debacle
about three years ago. I do not intentionally listen to him on tv
(change the channel immediately...usually) but I do read some of his
posts because, Very Unfortunately, he is either listened to and
followed by some lemmings or he is a 'back channel' to his hedgie
buddies....bottom line stocks have moved on his recs....gak!....gak!.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering about Cramer earlier today.  As I watched BRCM
going up (I bailed at 30.05 in a panic, it was a slight bounce off of
a low caused by Cramer saying  because of cyclical action "Tech is
dead and Get OUT!!")  Soooo Tech did not bottom and the sun still
comes up.  Does this mean that Cramer's death nell on Goog may just
not happen?

What happened to Cramer saying "Goog is actually worth 942.00 a
share?!" Did he forget to have the inevitable decelleration of ernings
figured in?  What I really want to know is why after Goog goes down to
the famous 450.00  why will it then go up again.  What catalyst will
occur that isn't in place now after they again, beat earnings
estimates.  Did these estimates have a slower growth figured in?

I think that there is a psych-ops head fake going on here.

Tina

It is true, but I think his effect may be weakening because of his
recent calls which turned out to be 100% wrong on GOOG....AAPL  MSFT
etc...

RB, add to that list of dud calls by Cramer the NYX. He was pushing
that almost as much and as hard as Google.

without doing any technical answer to this, I will say simply that
nwithout an upcoming earnings or OE, there are no catalysts for Goog
(and is why a lot of folks lose money on options in betwwen earnings
periods)

I really do not know, Risky. The Cramer Effect cannot be a bunch of
little investors buying their 10 or 20 shares. One theory I heard is
that he is a shill for his hedgie buddies i.e. they're going to take
it down anyway so if Cramer comes out and says it's going
down....well....he looks a prince and his buddies have prime time
coverage to move it down...conspiracy theories abound.
The reason I started this thread is because less than a week has gone
by since his general tech wreck (and GOOG) diatribe and now a Major
Reversal....honestly, how can anyone beleive him?!

Last point: after YHOO's Q3 E/R in Oct Cramer hammered it mercilessly
for about 5 shows in a row....I found this very curious since he owns
it??!!....as Ben says: 'something is fishy in Denmark'.

maybe "word" has circulated on the street about whispers of pump and
dump and he's feeling the pressure so is trying to make amends with
his viewers (or the SEC? LOL)

honestly, without cramer saying anything, most of the people on the
boards were saying it could go to $600-750+ - and by most, i may mean
one person (with a bunch of bobbleheads listening to him) who made 300
threads saying "omfg buy goog before earnings or you will be sorry" -
you know, like a "slingshot pulled maximally back" or a "rocket"

its funny how people look for a scapegoat when as always, hindsight is
20/20 (although before earnings, people only talked about earnings,
not
decelleration of earnings, or the future, or logic... people had
tunnelvision)

as for cramer - he says a lot of trash, but he sometimes comes up with
good ideas (not always good stocks, but gives me new ideas to build on
my own ideas) - i do think, however, that its really silly for him to
come out with a "seasonality" rule (kinda a no tech under any
circumstance rule) for tech, then flip on it a month later because of
different circumstances...

i really wish he would play smart, rather then play crazy - i really
enjoy learning new concepts (to me) or talking about certain sectors
and making insightfull theories (that options pinning article was
good) - he really does toss in a lot of garbage (and meaningless
dribble) that really hurt his credibility sometimes though....

although/also... he really really really needs to stop saying "at my
hedge fund"... its like hearing someone say "dont worry im a
professional"...

Thank you Paul.  I really am trying to understand why the world has
suddenly turned up side down.  Rules seem to be changed as needed and
it starts to make one question, become distrusting and ultimately
loose faith.  We need to stick together and figure out what's really
going on here.  Many heads are always better then one and a common
goal will bring strength and progress though uniting.

Hope you are well and happy.
Tina

Tfv,  your illumination makes it all so clear.  Thank you.  I was
trying to gather my thoughts on this and you pinned it my friend!

Tina

P.S.  We have to watch his show this evening!
