Sorry Modern, have to disagree with you as well. 90% of this board and
others are full of spam and other garbage. I have no issue with the
changes, and while I don't think they will sell my number, I also have
no illusion that my number, and every other number out there, are
already well known to the marketers that want them.

I have heard the google folks themselves say (paraphrasing) that their
entire empire rests on the trust of their customers. That's not to say
they wouldn't ever break it, but I don't think they would dare do
anything to test it without really considering and calculating the
value of their relationship with their customers and the risks

One point to consider is that this is a % share, not actual numbers.
It doesn't necessarily indicate that people have switched over to bing
from google. With computers dropping in price almost daily, it would
seem that pc's are becoming more available to those that might not

This could cause Google to miss earning estimates.
