I have often wondered the same as you but the market is probably more
rational than you think. Let's look at some estimates for the 3
companies to compare, namely Google, Amazon and Yahoo:
1. Goog
Net Rev est for 2009/2010/2011 are $17.4bn, $21.04bn and $23.93 bn
implying Y/Y % growth of 10%, 20% and 14%

Google trades at a forward PE of 21 while Amazon trades at a forward
PE of 53. Yahoo at forward PE of 37. Google has more cash on the books

I am tired of holding goog, I expect to get to 550 tomorrow if good

Yup, I got verification. People on a TV program discussion indicated

OK, it was nice that T-mobile started providing the Driode, even if
they ended up being late at it, and delaying into weekend. However,
people wanted a larger more major carrier to provide the Driode.

Enter Verizon (I believe largest network in America).

CIT announces a contingency plan. As soon as the courts approve CIT's
Bankrupty plan the federal government will give a 2nd bailout. This is
what happened to General Motors. Ticker GM now MTLQQ. This is great
news for the entire economy.

Dow $indu: The chart rest on 54 simple moving average whch is
9683.29 while the low was 9684.54 . The next move will commence after
nov 4 after the fed meeting. Tommorow expect the dow to end at +70.
