This is a PERFECT example of the ease with which the big MMs are able
to manipulate stock prices. In this case they must have had a decimal place out of whack- but still- if they are able to easily create a huge drop in price like this, imagine how much stuff they can do while remaining "off the radar." I wish like hell the SEC would look into this "event" and end this kind of thing. I blame the current market woes EQUALLY on the new skill of the shorts (since the rule change on shorting last fall) and the irresponsible lending practices sanctioned (again and again) by you know who.
