Well Adam, I hope you are right but i continue to see large sell
orders including after hours.  Shorts are still active but I observe
daily the volume and amount of longs outpacing them.  Would like to
see the squeeze first before celebrating.  Anticipating PCS's
conference call on Thursday.

Don't worry this thing will be like Sandisk. It's all about Management
this is not Sprint with crappy management Metro PCS, will adopt and
innovate themselves around the current market and differentiate
themselves from others like they have always done.

Shorts will cry soon. There is no more room to short this monster,
unless earning look like rotten-spaghetti

I'm not trying to be a downer, but I really doubt they are going to
have anything positive to say tomorrow. Why would they?

Because senior management individuals own a significant amount of PCS
shares and they want PCS shares to stay afloat and as high as
possible.   I don't think they had anything bad to say last quarter.
In the end, it will be the numbers that will matter though.

We all know the economy is on a lifeline with consumers and many
unemployed looking to lower monthly cost.  Don't you think a low cost
plan and a Ceo of PCS willing to cut further being enough said?
Most of the other carriers will not be able to compete at lower prices
for this expanding broken consumer.  Common sense tells you the long
term growth for PCS is GROWTH.

I totally agree with you Nelson. It will be a disaster to their top
and bottom lines for the encumbents to follow through with their own
price cuts as this will cannibalize existing plan subscribers.   The
new $35 PCS plan couldn't have come at a better time.   I'm hoping
this will put a squeeze on the MVNO's existing margins and make them
reconsider entering the US market vis-a-vis through a PCS buyout. :)

The only problem with lowering price of their services is that there
is a need to lower the inherent cost as well.  I was worried about
this because usually lowering price to the consumer to compete means
you lose on the net side.  You can actually gain on the gross side,
but lose on the bottom line.

However, after reading the Forbes article about their business plan
from the founder, I feel that they are taking this into account and
doing everything possible to lower cost as well as price to the
consumer.  This could be good news.

Don't call me a short.  I am long PCS.

The results were really good, and this shows where the strenght of
MetroPCS is - Their cost. There will be price pressure which will
drive down the price of the monthly plan. But while the other
providers will match the price, they will have much higher cost, while
MetroPCS will still be able to make quite substantial profits. And
with 4G we should see this continue. What bothers me however is the
low number of new customers which I expected to be quite higher. We
should see this double in the next few days/weeks and the way to 14-15
should be quite possible within a month range. The next quarters
results however will be still watched and will determine if this will
stabiliye around 15 or go down back to the 6-7 levels. For now I hope
I can enjoy a ride back to double digits.

One more thing to add - a short squeeze is very likely. There are way
too many shares shorted so we might see a huge gap here throughout
today and tommorow. Hold your pants tightly.

http://www.buyins.net/  --> this isn't spam.  It does indicate that
shorts are to be squeezed over the $7.10 level.

In October, 2009 the (PCS) MetroPCS Communications Inc. SqueezeTrigger
Price was $7.09. If you had purchased PCS, the trade would have gained
0.16% as of today's price of $7.10. If you had traded 10,000 shares,
you would currently have a gain of $113.00.
