Crappola! don't you just hate it when real life interferes with
gooning around on the internet trading silly stocks? :-)

Had to work yesterday, looks like I missed the top, the magic chart
seems to confirm this too.

Jeff, its looks like you nailed it again, and with the price right now
at 52.40$ there's no way I'm chasing it from here.

they and spammers together have co-conspired to allow it to degrade to

Yes Jeff its absolutely shocking. The sheer volume of spam on here is
a disgrace, even more so when you consider the position in the web
google's name is supposed to have credibility.

Maybe they sold out and are collecting payment from the spammer? thats
the only reson I can think why they would allow the mess that they now
have on their hands.

Thats aside its nice to see MOS sky diving lower today, assisted by a
pull back grains/oil and the wider market.

I'm thinking this could drop as far as the 200 day at 46.50. The 50
day looks to have fallen today and there's not much below that in the
line of support to give me much to worry about.

So I'm staying in, not covering here and waiting out for the big
payday this time round :-)

Good Luck as always.

i took my profits right @ $50 ... sticking to the rules and pre-set
targets!

8.25% in less than a week works for me :)

it's looking at the 20-day, and after a recent bout with the 200-day,
i think it may actually find a little strength very soon ... don't
think it will hold, but as we can both attest to, its not nice to turn
your back on this one for any length of time.

the way i look at it, MOS is NOT following any logical long-term path,
so it appears to me to be momentum driven, and as such influenced by
factors like the moving averages, technical measures, etc.

as such, i'm inclined to hit it, split it, and quit it ... thats it,
thats how i roll with respect to MOS ... remember, a rolling stone
gathers no MOS :)

like nothing more than to be proven wrong at this point! if it does
have a good day or two, i see maybe $54 at tops before it reverses and
heads south again, i'm just VERY tired of taking a 2-3 day trade and
having to worry and babysit it for 2-3 weeks, because the little pony
likes to run.

good luck, talk to you soon.

regards, Jeff Bond

Ok closed other 50% at 49.80. I've seen enough this morning to believe
that the recent decline bottomed at 49$.

Loads of times recently it has touched 49 and found support.

Also, in the wider market the long term trend line on the SPY/SPX was
tested yesterday and again today, it seems to be holding up which may
mean the market will continue on along the path of least
resistance......up.

squirrel,

nice trade! weighing both risk & reward, i think that was the right
decision.

obviously, its just one opinion, but like asking for a second opinion
from a doctor, theres a certain level of confidence gained in hearing
other's thoughts.

of course having said that, it then closes near the low of the day :)

i think MOS moves enough that its still a very good trading vehicle,
just more in the 8-15% range, as opposed to the good old days of 25+%
trades.

Cheers Jeff and hats off to you for another solid trade.

Well its heading lower today and that makes me smile becuase it makes
the job of finding an entry point for a long sooooo much easier.

I'm a little surprised by the weakness in the wider market, where have
all those crazed dip buyers gone?

Anyways, looking at the 200 day and the bottom bollinger band to get
back in, that might be 2 or 3 sessions away yet though, crossover of
full stochastics on the classic chart as you've said before Jeff is
foolproof.

i like the 200-day and bollinger band range as well squirrel.

wondering whether it may drop lower if the general market gives up
ground.

thats why i love the full STO trade, it's silly how well it works :)

i'm going to let the crossover occur this time around ... i could see
trying to time it perfectly at the 200-day, only to see it give up a
couple more bucks before it rebounds.

if full STO crosses over AHEAD of a good bottom on CCI, i'd be careful
going long ... that may be a sign that its still a little early before
it heads back up.

nice work squirrel, all the best!

ok, looks like a possible nice long position is setting up:

1. WAIT for cci to bottom
2. full sto crosover go long

its gonna solve a lot of problems here, making it a good long:

1. FINALLY close gap @ $45
2. bounce off 200-day again
3. technically, its time for a leg up

will be on-board soon, waiting ...

I'm also thinking of going long here... I don't know much about
technical indicators, but the ultimate oscillator is also telling me
the stock is close to oversold. From what I can tell, stochastics are
saying the same thing. I should probably learn more about these before
I rely too much on them, but I've been on the sidelines for awhile and
I was thinking the entry point must be coming up here.

aaron,

yeah it probably wouldn't hurt to do some research on these
indicators, which measure what, when they apply, which confirm and
which predict, etc. ... good stuff.

the ultimate indicator is a VERY good general indicator, WAY up there
with MACD, STO, TRIX, & CCI for me ...

i think MOS may show one more sign of weakness, then looks good to get
a long.

Jeff and Squirrel,

Since you two seem to be the only two talking here (and the only two I
found worth reading before), how did you first learn about these
technical indicators? Courses in college? A degree in finance? Through
work?

I have never taken a course in finance of any kind, however I am a PhD
student in Economics so I have the aptitude to pick stuff up fast.
What should I read?

good entry point.
