Low volume today…I guess everybody including the “Great Manipulator”
is waiting for something… Any thoughts?

on strategy desk I see trades that are not registering on the volume
so I would look to see a surge of volume show up in the last few
minutes of the day also those trades are generally lower than the bid
ask price that would seem to tell me that the price will be going
higher before the close my guess

SVA has been on an uptrend since Monday.  The low volume and the
increase in price indicate that demand exceeds supply.

Currently, I see a lid of $8.20 on SVA's price.  But that can vanish
in an instant.

A Chinese-American friend of mine has heard from sources in China that
Sinovac is one of the best-known firms in the country, and they are
puzzled why the price has not risen higher.

I continue to HOLD, even though there is a large green number beside
SVA in my portfolio.

My best guess for a closing price today is around 8.08 or slightly
higher.  But it's just a guess based on what I see now.

This has been an on-going question...we've all been wondering for the
past few months why SVA keeps getting pushed down.  And why it doesn't
seem to get the lift it deserves when good news comes along.  I guess
it could be the manipulation going on with this stock.  I hope we'll
get to the point soon enough where there is hardly any floating shares
around for them to manipulate and the only way is to go up on this!

I have also observed large trades being executed at higher prices like
$8.12 and $8.17 when the bid and ask is only 8.04 and 8.05.  It was
going on the whole morning with the large volumes posted which
suddenly will be executed notwithstanding the current bid and ask is
much smaller.  I can only deduce 2 things here:  first, the
institutions are accumulating because of the NASDAQ listing and
earnings report coming in soon but doing it quietly so as not to jack
up the price or second, one big buyer is just sick and tired of the
mianipulation going on and buying up the trades that can prevent SVA
from reaching its true value.

As I have stated earlier, Nasdaq listing is better of investors like
us.Like NYSE, AMEX still believes and relies in floor trading.  In
short, most of the large institutional trades are executed with a
"personal touch" making it
slower.  However,  NASDAQ is all about technology.  There is no floor
like NYSE and AMEX.  The
NASDAQ in NY is only for television purposes because all trades are
done electronically which is the same
for institutional investors and individual investors. Putting it
another way, it is possible for a large trade to be known
only to the floor trader or specialist before execution who can
evaluate the market first because the investor with floor contacts can
opt to trade it with a floor trader because they would rather have
that "personal attention."   NASDAQ has market makers but no floor
traders, hence, no floor execution. Again, it is all about technology
in Nasdaq which makes the playing field a little more level between us
and the big boys.

SVA commands caution.  When CYOU price was 35, a few days before Q3,
friends believed price could be above 40.  I gave a little alert. One
friend argued or attacked me.  Still, he (Dave) sold it and bought
GAME at 10.  Next day he called GAME a crap when GAME sank further and
I insisted GAME would fly soon.  His GAME gained 10% is 5 days.  CYOU
dropped hard since earnings.

My suspicion is that a large investment company, which sold its SVA
shares, has been quietly buying them back, while at the same time
keeping the price of SVA down.  As soon as the price hits a high
level, the company will sell most of its shares in a day, causing the
price to plummet.  Then it will start the process all over again.

SVA is a stock whose value has risen and fallen on a seasonal basis in
the past.  I suspect the overall trend will continue.  Therefore,
caution is certainly warranted.

Maybe.  But if you sold short you do not buy back the share at a
higher price.  The large transactions were posted at $8.12 -$8.17 when
the bid and offer was $8.04-$8.05.  I still think there is a large
buyer slowly accumulating. Just my humble insight on what is
happening.

Here are the 10,000 – 20,000 shares “ask” for 8.20…I guess this is
the
ceiling.

Unless it vanishes for a preplanned pop, 8.20 is the ceiling.
However, even though 10,000-20,000 shares appear on Level II Quotes,
there could easily be a hundred thousand or more shares backing them
up.  It's one of the tricks used to deceive small traders that long/
short investment firms use, according to Investopedia.com.

I'm glad somebody else has spotted it besides me.
