What advantages would accrue for trading on NASDAQ?

I guess more visibility and investor interest could come out of this.
Is it coincidence that the shift in trading boards is happening just before earnings? On Nov 4, 12:56 am, sakalas91 <boris.baku...@gmail.com> wrote:

That will be a good news. Nasdaq is more active in trading than in
Amex. More investors will be attracted to SVA.

Like NYSE, AMEX still believes and relies in floor trading. In short,
most of the large institutional trades are executed with a "personal touch" making it slower. However, NASDAQ is all about technology. There is no floor like NYSE and AMEX. The NASDAQ in NY is only for television purposes because all trades are done electronically which is the same for institutional investors and individual investors. Putting it another way, it is possible for a large trade to be known only to the floor trader or specialist before execution who can evaluate the market first because the investor with floor contacts can opt to trade it with a floor trader because they would rather have that "personal attention." NASDAQ has market makers but no floor traders, hence, no floor execution. Again, it is all about technology in Nasdaq which makes the playing field al little more level between us and the big boys. Hope this helps!!!
