With not much else to invest in as employment figures rise gold once
again is likely to become the security blanket for most of the world.
Slowly we should start to see it rise over the next week.

I dunno spiff, gold has already been on a bit of a run, and we are at
the end of the busier seasonal hiring season, so a lot of temp
employees have been/will be let go as the normal process late every
year. I don't feel that further job losses at this point necesarily
point to another panic sell or something of that nature. It would take
another major lender to go belly-up for that to happen imo. I don't
see gold going up much higher without going back lower first. Still
looking for 980ish spot gold. I will admit though, work has kept me
busy and I've fallen behind on dollar fundamentals, so there could be
a factor there as well...

The Chinese will keep on buying gold and lots, the East Indians also,
in conjunction with the American Banks not able to properly help the
home owners who are losing their homes fast, the real estate market is
still falling, employment is still rising, the republicans have no
self control and are being led by righwingnuts and the democrats are
being led by leftwingnuts who arrogantly believe they are
intellectually superior, and that's the good news, so yes I believe in
gold for now, and the future.

Holy Smokes!

I haven't been here in a while......you guys must not be that bored,
with all the "spicy" videos!  Posani Krishna must be Arturo's new
alias.....LOL!  They say you can make more money in porn than gold.

Anyhow, still hold onto my original thoughts, target near
1080-85......looks like one more push up.

Alright !, Church is back....I thought we lost him:)  With gold...I
think it may have a little higher to go, however,  from a risk to
reward pov., I cant sleep at night with gold at its current pricing
and asking it to go higher.  Just my .02.

porn, and the poster's name was Posani Krishna.  I couldn't resist
giving you a hard time.

Why funny you ask Art, since I have been chasing BX for some time
now...

http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE59O1Q620091026

Sun Oct 25, 2009 8:46pm EDT
"Commercial real estate company Capmark Financial filed for bankruptcy
protection on Sunday, wiping out the investment of several private
equity firms including Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co."

Why is this article relevant as far as BX is concerned? My fundamental
and technical analysis is available over on the BX board if you'd like
to read up, or counter.

I have the pleasure of flying home on Friday the 13th. I am getting
frustrated trying to keep track of current events, the dollar, and
gold. I really have enjoyed southern california, could probably even
live out here, but it will be nice to be home.

it's like what we discussed before art, this will be just like
flipping those STLD puts. At all times those puts were completely
worthless, yet I tripled my return because some sucker thought they
were coming into the money when I sold them back... i have no
intention of holding these calls for more than a couple weeks. let's
see how I do... bought 25 contracts, so i'm in for $535 with
commission. i like ocnf for $0.90 to go long... didn't get it today

Church doesnt like my pick?:)  Jessica has always been a favorite of
mine...All kidding aside Im loading-up on BEE today through Friday, and
will hold through earnings...unless I back-out at the last minute.
The lead I get on the stock usually dictates whether or not I hold
through earnings,...I closed HBAN for this same reason.   I still
remain bearish with gold and will be staying clear of the precious
metals...it became a crowded trade IMAO.  Good to see Church posting
again, if only for entertainment value:)  Mav

if it can get that approval sure i like it and we can just ignore if
it will actually start making money after that since that news alone
will probably bring it up. theyre hiring an accounting firm so looking
at their books would be a nice help. Overall i think theyrs a good
chance it could be a winner. but not my style of play. I prefer
calling this nicee dip and playing off of this. its like a christmas
that comes twice a year since that last rise after we dipped below 10
like i said previously. When will this rise? meh could be as early as
tomorrow assuming gdp doesnt surprise.

BT, Mav, Art & whoever else is still here.

I've been short since 1100 SPX, actually just a couple of bucks under
that mark.  The market was attempting to close over a [gap], that was
produced on our descent earlier this year, and since it couldn't
that was the signal to go short.  There is still hope for the bulls,
but it is looking weak.......on the outside chance they muster a rally
from here, it will most likely be short lived, with limited upside
beyond 1100.  Getting short here, might expose some risk, since the
market will try to squeeze the late comers.

As for gold and AUY, I've not been trading it, so I haven't been
around.

I'll have a look at your BEE.
