Hey BT,

Not really, my preferred count accomodates a run over 1100 again, but
now there are [layers] of over-head resistance to get thru and nothing
is for certain. If my TA is correct, this would be the completed move
up, for now, then we should experience a decent pullback.

Now, if this is just a bounce, and we are to experience more downside,
I'm looking at 1041 is a must hold, if broken this would confirm my
primary is "dead" for now.

I sold my shorts with a nice profit, and will daytrade equities up
from here, providing the market moves that direction.

Well, sounds better than my January $90 puts on GLD are doing. While
not completely worthless, it's pretty sad. Pretty glad I only took a
small position there on a hunch. GLD keeps creeping to that $105 we
talked about before when we had all that crazy call volume a month or
so ago. Rather than double down, I think I'll wait to see if we can
hit $105 and then start to build a bear spread for January. I still
see gold under $1000, but I need to get home and study up on some
things...

BT,

The spike yesterday closed near the top of a "descending channel" (the
top channel line), since it couldn't break over it higher, another
firm signal to be short.  The GDP surprised, but was a BULL trap!
Perfectly played by non-other than GS......

I'm expecting lower yet into next week SPX in the 1020's, and then
there should be another move higher, not necessay, but
probable.......  I haven't gotten a chance to plot the approximate
target(s) yet, but that looks to be the area from a glance, before it
reverses north again.  I am doubtful that I will "chase" this market
higher from here.

In regards to gold, it's looking doubtful that my 1080 spot gold hits,
as a matter of fact, it could hit sub 800 before it hits that target.
As you know, the dollar has been "compressed", and I think they may
let that dog out of it's kennel for awhile.  It may still be early to
tell, but regardless, the trends are starting to change.......expect
some Bull/Bear battles here.

Okay, it (SPX) "COULD" drop as low as 1012-1013 price, before we see
some type of move up.

Mav,

I wouldn't discount that 980 target, since that is the last low price
point before we started the move up to 1100 spx.  The market has a way
of getting back to the starting point.....now while agree with you
that that seems pretty low, it's not out of the realm of
possibilities.

Im out of BEE for now.  Im happy with a modest profit...holding into
earnings is too much of a gamble at his point with not much of a
"lead".  I'll take some more LDK tommorrow and start looking for
something more promising.  I had to check on HPGP which I was eyeing a
month ago @2.4, and it looks like it made a nice move higher without
me:( Mav.

Credit to the gold bulls today.  I wouldnt be a buyer of gold today, i
agree with the cnbc idiots that its looking a little toppy.  Id say to
own the GLD makes more sense and should see a slight outperformance
vs. miners in the near term, however in the longer term obviously if
gold holds its value the miners should outperform the metal.  Ive
moved back into BEE for earnings...ive got a gambling problem.  Mav
