What does it mean? Vimicro Announces the Adoption of a Shareholder Rights Plan  This plan is designed to protect the company from being taken over. How could this stock trade at market value one half of net cash  What am I missing here? Net cash take away dept is $107 million. Market value is $50 million. I am skeptical that the market value translation is somehow wrong with the ADS calculation.
