APP is under panic fire sale mode right now, under no apparent further
negative news... wait until the smoke is clear, their business seems expanding with new stores opening... I still think patience will pay off on this deeply discounted one... You must Sign in before you can post messages.

I don't contend that it's good but would like to point out that they
always break their loan covenant. As far as I know they've never *not* broken their loan covenant. This was typical of their relationships with the banks. On Oct 8, 5:28 pm, J <j.mitchel...@gmail.com> wrote:

I think you need to read up on the recent news. Yea he bought stuff
six months ago. A lot changes in six months. Same store sells have been down month over month about 15%, they had the immigration problem which I am sure cost them, and there was the news that they breached their ratio covenant on their loan ( by far the worst news I think). All that equals bad news for the stock price. When you break a loan covenant like that it usually indicates the company is doing poorly and enables the investor to request immediate payment on the balance of the loan. Professional investor look at info like that and head for the hills which cause the stock price to drop. Them breaking the loan covenant is scary stuff it indicates that the company could be in real trouble. So yea, news like that comes out and stock goes down, regardless if it

You are correct...as i hate to say, but these clothes will fit
Europeans and Asians better than some of the plus size people found in the US..also Europe will wear a lot of colors that are not typical for US....just look @ the European golfers to see what i mean..Ian Poulter comes to mind. On Sep 10, 1:08 pm, playithard <arnaud.messa...@gmail.com> wrote:

Just my humble opinion..people in the past have said this is just a
trendy fad etc etc,,,i've followed this stock since it traded as APP...my son's girlfriend was an APP Model so i've also heard some of the details that go on inside.....not very good and wholesome as we all know Dov can blow up stuff as fast as he can create great ideas.....But this company is the outright leader in setting trends for younger fashion. notice the new offerings from Gap / Quicksilver / you name it...they were all basically started by APP..tight straight jeans..carrington sweaters / new wild colors for pants..APP had these awhile back and still does, but now everyone offers them. Also I was just in Canada and saw a store that was exactly like American Apparel only it was a Gap store...hell now they even want to copy the store look...I guess it should be a compliment but i just think it was a rip off...please remember APP has RFID tech for inventory and uses it to spot their trends in selling and manufacture and can and will turn on a dime if they spot what consumers want...also they do not have to run a million of pieces to get a low price or import from China as most others do.....Dov is a wild card but APP is still on top of the curve in fashion for the younger crowd....also note: I'm not in Texas so my opinion is based on the left coast trend.
