Max has dropped due to exit of 3 main investors when forced to sell
up,

Kazastan , where Max has its operation, sells to who ever wants, even
Iran, it works out cheaper due to transportaion to parts of Iran .

I had estimated with onset of winter, and Russians cutting energy to
Ukrain, so Max may rise.

My timing seems wrong. But winter has not gone yet.

However, i do anticipate Max to rise rapid in near future.

now 12.02.09
Max risen 147% in two days , over 135% today alone,

Thus seems a large jump,
Its shape of rises that can top over 1000% very easy,
Rise of 1000% from 2 pence = 22 pence,
Rise of 1000% from 6 pence = 66 pence,

Can this stock be 200 pence ?

Very possible , and even beyond,

But it can also fall and all is lost,

Chances of later remote at this stage,

As this was a £2 stock, its operations has remained same , but its
shares value droped, Due to economy , not operations, So its a chance
for poor to have a bet,

Still a good bet to buy,

Any idea why it's come back to 5 pence ?

Just profit taking or something more sinister ?

Thanks

1) Profit taking.

2) Reinvestment opportunity,

Operations of Max same as it was before the global plans , "made to
look like of of corntrol crises".

Finances a lot more to fall, Many stocks to fall much more, even out
of bussiness,

Some have fallen all they can,yet survive,

I think Max is one of the stocks, that had fallen all it could,

Max is gamble like any other,

But it is one of best there is,

For me , it was sell @6.02 and buy back @ 5.00 pence.

Profit taking sure nice,

I'm hearing about possible takeover rumours on various forums.  I
stress they are just rumours.

I'd like to buy into this stock as the research I have done indicates
it's worth a punt regardless of the above rumours, but I'm fully
committed in other stocks at the moment.  On my "watch" list.

Max is one of most favorable companies,

1) Geopolitically positioned / not a country at war/

2) Its shares dropped due to global market demand decline + main share
holders were called in by collapsed US banks,

3) Its current share holders dont expect dividend, so not as risky as
BP when it cuts dividend , it sees share price drop,

Dont we all wish we had bought more when it was 2.5 pence ?

Then a hundred thousand shares was just £2500,

No , This is no hype,

There wil be a big sell off now by some investors to take profit,

There will be a drop likely,  , but a  rise so sharp that make
reinvestment a pain if u just sold it hopping for drop and buy back,

It may not be such a smart move , it is risky but empting to sell,

This stock is favourd as geopolitically it is located in a favorable
position. Think  war , then think stocks,

FOOD WILL RISE IN PRICE TOO, BUT NOT FOOD SELLERS COMPANY

I predict this stock will show its true potential with in 3 years. I
expect it to be in line with wt BP price is at moment.

Yes, yes, I know, u say on wt bases ?

Forget bases,

Wt is happening is to do with coming  global  multiple civil war, not
some silly finance chart tools that is 4  fools ,

It is unlikely that Max has any serious problems, as the BT pension
fund would have found that out before it bought into the company
recently. People like that have access to all the information that we
outside investors don't have. This is why Max's price went up
recently. The increase in the cost of crude oil was less important. It
was confidence not crude that did it.

Even though I predict price of oil will drop with in next few months,
However , Max will rise .

Reason is primarely  its location in a geopolitically stable
enviroment.

Josh,

Where did you learn to be bloody handsome like that,

You should call yourself merlin the wizard, cos your magic doesn't seem
to have any effect on this stock,

but I'm sure if there's any scots on here, they'd advice you to return
to wales and work your magical predictions on the fury lambs skipping
in the fields,

Hope you get my drift.

It'll probably go to 50pence b4 year end but that should be enough to
buy you some make-up Josh.

Josh, just to correct some of your points here.

> Q ) Why Max is not rising ?

> A) Because they kep issuing new shares and dilute .

To be precise, warrants issued to various institutions by MXP are
gradually being exercised, thereby increasing (as you said) the number
of shares in circulation. However, the effect on share price dilution
has already been factored in by the MMs when the warrants were first
issued. It's obvious that the MMs had to do this, because the price of
shares issued in the warrant was typically 5p: considering the fact
the current price is 19p, it's quite likely that the warrant holders
would probably sell their shares sooner rather than later.

Therefore, the drop to 19p is nothing more than general market
sentiment as we wait for news -- which may be happening in the next
1-2 weeks.

> Q) Wt does that mean for normal mortal investors like sephalel ?

> A) He hold on to stock and watch value drop,

Well, it has dropped from about 25p to 19p, but it looks like there is
support at 19p.

> Q) Wt does handsome josh do ?

> A ) Sell , and but back at 17 pence range , day trade or small rises ,
> but overall price will be down so says handsome josh ,

I doubt it will hit 17p based upon the support there is on 19p.

And how are you going to feel when you sell now, only to find the
share price shoots up on news of spudding?

Hi jamesE

Thanks 4 analysis

To answer you, , yes, , if u r correct and prices shoot up while I
wait to buy @17 pence  I shall feel very ugly , which is difficult  ,
as I am so handsome ,

I cant  claim be predictor with absolute certainty. That would make me
super handsome and means I must be sleeping with the Market Makers .

However , on balance of probability , given so many new shares are
flooding  Max Petroleum stock , I anticipate prices fall to 17 pence
with 95% certainty.

handsome josh .

I think Max has the potential for growth as I believe it is
undervalued, but I think 100p is a little bit of optimistic thinking
in the near term, I could see them rise as high as 30p though in the
near term if oil prices keep rising and hit $100 a barrel again.

But I hope you are right, as I would buy these if they drop below 18p
