Do you often answer spam e-mails as well?

Although it hurts my head to try to interpret that Chinglish into real
English, I wouldn't have a problem with it if they simply posted the
text itself, instead of a link back to their blog so that they can
make money off us by tricking us into reading it.  Problem is, you
don't know it's really spam until you click on it. You aren't supposed
to make Google Finance into a money-maker for yourself.

However, folks seem to love reading spam.  Seems like a good business
idea, huh?  Perhaps some enterprising fellah should just start
flooding these solar stocks with any alt-energy spam he could think
of...

dgint... your "I liked reading it.  Please keep posting" will never be
read by the spammer anyway.  They never read these discussions after
posting their spam.  They usually don't ever even post again.  His
account will be canceled soon, and he'll create a new Gmail account,
and post new spam tomorrow.  I've been seeing that for months now.
That's why tomorrow's very similar spam will usually come from a new
address.

And as I feared, he spammed that post across every solar stock board
I've checked so far, including YGE, STP, TSL, FSLR, LDK, JASO, ESLR,
CSIQ, and SOLF.  I'm not gonna check any more.

I think Google's spam filters are failing, and we are likely to see a
lot more of this soon.  Maybe there is a solar spam company somewhere
I can invest in.

The only reason spammers exist is because there are always people
st00pid enough to actually answer, purchase, or download (can you say
virus?).

I wish Google would just block all such blogspot links.  If I want to
see blogs, I'll go there.

PS-I hope you reported it as abuse.

I knew that was true as soon as I saw the first one..

but there's nothing to purchase nor download when you go to the site..
and I don't have any viruses. I hope not anyway... and I don't think
it's right to suppress any solar info being posted on these threads.
I'd say at least 50% of us like reading what China has to say reg. the
solar industry. It puts Moron in such a bad mood though, he plays
control freak and reports them.
yet jcr, you are right, it would of course be better if they posted
the text itself.. would you like me to start doing that, so no one has
to be paranoid about going to the site itself? or will Moron report
little ol' me and label me a spammer ho for copying and pasting their
cryptic texts?

I don't think some guy's blog spam represents what China has to say
about solar energy.  He's just out to make a quick buck by breaking
Google's rules.

I think we have a philosophical difference about what the boards
should be used for.  My view is aligned with what Google intended.  If
the spammer wanted to just share that info, then he would share it,
instead of making sure we viewed all the advertisements on his blog.

In the end, the spam will come again this afternoon or tomorrow.
dgint and others can enjoy reading it, because there is no stopping
it.  Moron and I can continue reporting it when we think it crosses
the line, but we can't really do anything about it.

If you want to read all the blogs, go there.  Not everyone does and
there is no reason for an automatic link from here to there  Thhis
garbage is posted to all the groups, China related or not.  If you
spam every newsgroup with the intent of making money, you deserve to
be reported.  And I'm NOT the only one.  Just more vocal.

You're computer is quite possibly infected if you follow every link
you see, and blogspot isn't a very clean place.

You open spam e-mail, don't you?

We can do something about it.  Not only continue reporting it, but get
others to also report it.  dgint is pro-spam.  Might have bought "Make
Penis Fast" pills.  Or was that "Fire your boss", "Bigger breasts"
etc.  Spam is spam.  Netiquette is netiquette.

And, as I said, if i wanted to read blogpot crap, I can type it in
myself.

Moron, I am definitely not pro-spam. and I repeat: I never open spam
emails.
I am pro-solar-info- access. I am too lazy to go check the site myself
because it is so .. so-so. I wouldn't say I like the site. But I still
like to read it now and again. It's too bad you have such problems
with diversity in this world. Everyone has their own view. You would
enjoy life much more probably if you just went with the flow..

You are pro-spam.  You not only defend the spammers, but you aIso seem
to like including posting quotes from other blog spams.  Note that the
other spams seem to be disappearing because they are, as I said, spam.

Not always is it wise to "go with the flow".  Unless you are a herd
animal, like a sheep.  At best you get shorn.  At worst you are served
with mint jelly.

To quote several comedians, "Here's your sign."

Moron- I just try to defend people against potential cyber-bullies.
(are you one?)
I am not pro- anything except kindness.

why don't you contribute something instead of dissing people you don't
like, day in & day out?
here's an article I came across:

http://www.reportonbusiness.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080728.wsolar07...

this is what the article says reg. stp:

"Suntech Power Holdings Co. [STP-N]

Because a potential glut of supply of polysilicon could hammer
margins, Mr. Krop has started to look to companies making cells and
modules, and Chinese solar-scene giant Suntech is one of his
favourites. "Suntech has a couple of key advantages - cheaper labour
and scale," he says. It spends only about 5 to 7 per cent of revenue
on labour, compared with an industry average of between 9 and 12 per
cent, and is one of the world's three largest producers of solar
cells.

Citigroup analyst Jim Liang also favours Suntech in his latest report,
noting it is likely to presell all of 2009's production by year-end
2008. And with some analysts worried that cheaper polysilicon could
lead to an excess of solar cells by the end of the decade, Mr. Liang
likes Suntech's focus on profit margin preservation over expansion.
Mr. Krop thinks that potential oversupply of polysilicon is good for
Suntech for another reason. "Their one weakness has been their silicon
costs have been higher than some of their peers" so falling spot
prices should help the company mitigate some of its higher-cost
silicon contracts. Mr. Krop has a 12-month stock-price target of $58,
while Mr. Liang's is $55."

the use of the sub-Saharan sun to illuminate Europe is thought -
provoking, at least, which is more than I can say for your recent
posts, Moron. My thoughts on the proposed desert project: they will
probably use CST rather than PV panels.. so it may not do anything for
us investing here..
